mom and dad arrive TONIGHT! in fact, their plane should be touching down in bkk in exactly 12 little hours. hellllllllll yeah.
their arrival marks the beginning of what'll essentially be two months of solid travel. this also means two months of solid blog mistreatment. i'm gonna try to update you whenever i can, but i'm sorry in advance for not doing it enough and for the posts being inadequate even when i do. deal with it, suckers.
here, i'll give you a little outline of my itinerary for life until may 14, when i have to go back to having a job or some crap:
mom and dad's trippppp!
-->bangkok
-->suphanburi
-->phuket
-->koh yao noi
-->railay
-->BEIJING!
bye mom and dad :-(
nicki+val do beijing :-D
come home to suphan for a couple days to unwind from that bit of travel, then....
CHIANG MAI for songkran in april, aka thai new year, aka epic water fight in the hottest month of the year
sarah's tripppppp!
-->bangkok
-->koh samet
-->koh chang
-->sihanoukville, cambodia
-->phnom penh, cambodia
bye bye bye sarah :-(
but we'll continue on...
-->siem riep/angkor wat, cambodia
-->LAOS
--it should be noted that maddy and i (and lexa, for a hot minute) will be traveling in laos for a week with a hopeful plan but no reservations of any kind--no plane tickets, no train tickets, no hostels, nothing. it makes me real nervous to travel this way, but i suppose it's a reasonable/popular way to travel through a third-world country.
then may 12 hopefully we'll be back in suphanburi, a full day and a half before we've gotta put our teacher hats back on.
i xnayed exact dates just in case of stalkers and stuff. because i'm popular and cool enough to have potential stalkers.
anyway, i'm off to bangkok. you know your trip's off to a good start when you have to factor political unrest into your plans.
i'll miss you all, friends. stay safe <3
